The Swabian side of life the archaeological finds that come to the surface from the
depths of the earth. In the area of Érsekhalma, we can still
find the remains of a three-thousand-year-old Bronze Age
earthen castle and a medieval cave system carved into the
loess wall.
It is worth visiting the cosy cellar rows of the Swabian
Corner. The cellar village, which is unique in Europe, can
be visited in Hajós, and also the cellars of Császártöltés
and Nemesnádudvar offer visitors a special experience.
The Cabernet Wine Tourism Visitor Centre is the best
starting place for getting to know the area, especially the
Cellar Village in Hajós. Next to the local history exhibition,
visitors can enjoy the café, taste wines, and buy handicraft
products.
The Swabian Corner is not only worth visiting because
of the wines: we should plan a holiday for several days to
enjoy its gastronomic values and the ever-expanding op-

Blue Trail passes through here, and cyclists and rowing
enthusiasts will have a great time here. For those taking a
river trip on the Vajas Channel and the Dunavölgyi Main
Channel, it is strongly recommended visiting the Water
Tourism Centre in Dusnok and the folklore house in Sü-
