In addition to the 200-year-old traditions of the Swabian
culture along the river Danube, the Bor Bagoly (Wine
Owl) Press house, opened in the picturesque cellar row
of Nemesnádudvar, where cultural and gastronomic
events are held regularly, also presents the values of Bács-

Kiskun County. The adults can visit the exhibitions and
taste wines, while the children will enjoy the interactive
games and the VR glasses to explore the world of Sándor
Petőfi . They can also take selfies here with the sculptures

of the superheroes of Bács-Kiskun County. Whether it is
team building, a company gathering, or a family event, the
Bor Bagoly Press house awaits you and your guests with
                     unforgett able experiences.
The cellar was owned by the Metzinger family until 1946,

when all their property was taken away during nationaliza-

tion. After the persecution of Swabians, the Metzingers
bought back the cellar in the 1960s, and also bought a
few acres of land to start farming again. In 2021, the Bács-
Kiskun County Municipality bought the building from
the heirs, the Kishegyi family, with the aim of turning it
into a modern tourist destination for posterity and provid-
ing a place of rest and recreation for those interested in
the wine culture, while keeping the original message and

the motifs of the architectural heritage. The former cel-
lar, which praises the hard work of the German-speaking
settlers who arrived from their homeland, now serves as

a cultural port, where we can enjoy Swabian hospitality in
                     an exclusive environment!
