Vegetables from a reliable source with the collaboration of pro-
ducers. Délalföldi Kertészek Szövetkezete is a producer organisa-
tion established in 2002, with the aim of integrating the activities
of farmers in the town of Szentes and surroundings, and as a result of
this collaboration we are able to offer consistently high-quality goods.

Our main products are the various sorts of peppers (white capsicum,
hungarian hot wax pepper, kapia pepper, bell pepper), tomatoes and
snack tomatoes, cucumbers.
Our main values include the representation of high quality, traceability,
reliability, as well as the fact that we sell only fresh products produced by
local producers. The products are always delivered to the stores carefully
selected, graded and packaged within 72 hours of harvesting. Tradition and
innovation are the defining elements of our creed, so we try to preserve

the true taste of vegetables, applying and taking account of technological
innovations and changes.
Due to the exceptional talent of Bulgarian gardeners, the unique endow-
ment of the region, the knowledge of generations of farmers living here
and their constantly evolving technology, as well as cultivation based on
biological plant protection, fresh, rich and safe Hungarian products are
placed on our consumers’ table.
The quality of our products is marked by several prizes. On 21 Febru-
ary 2014, the “Szentesi Paprika” was awarded as a protected geo-
graphical indication (PGI) by the EU. In 2019, the „Szentesi Paprika”,
vegetable product with protected geographical indication (PGI)
won the Value and Quality Award. Since then, the Snack to-
mato product line and our Party-mix vegetable selection
product line also won the Value and Quality Award. In
2021, “Szentesi Paprika“ was included in the collec-
tion of the Hungaricums, making it one of the
outstanding values of the Hungarians.
