IN THE PACKAGING INDUSTRY

The Baán brothers founded their family business in Kimle back in the previous millennium (in 1999). The
brothers, who are living in the village, never hesitated to start their business locally, so that they could help
the village and the lives of the locals to the best of their ability and knowledge. The business profile of the
company has not actually changed in the recent period, however, its volume is already far beyond the
limits of a family business.

The design and the production of industrial packaging requires the knowledge of complex engineering
and logistics disciplines, as well as knowledge about the wood industry. In the industry today, the
design of the packaging of a given product forms an integral part of the production planning, while
the guidelines for air, water, rail or even road transport must be taken into account, not to mention the
anomalies of overseas transport. Expertise and a perfect technical background are not enough to achieve
success in this field. Skills and decades of experience are also essential. On the 37,000 m2-sized industrial
area, the production and the design supported by state-of-the-art technology are performed in a nearly
4,000 m2-sized production hall.
The company, which has significant references at an international level now, has
become a major player in the light industry sector in Transdanubia.
In addition to their national fame, the products and the services of BAÁN PAKK can now be found in the
United States, in China and, of course, in many European countries. The three decades of professional
experience means security for their customers, which also guarantees the high quality of the production
and the completion.

In the field of industrial packaging, the company’s plant in Kimle is a great reference on the spectrum
presenting the industry in Transdanubia. The company provides stable livelihood for nearly thirty
employees, most of whom live in the village.

BAÁN PAKK is a dynamically developing business; the company is expected to
achieve HUF 1.5 billion in sales in 2024.
