The uniqueness of the Virágfürdő (Flower Spa) of Kapos-
vár lies in its complexity, as all age groups can fi nd high-
quality services that satisfy their needs here. An indoor
adventure pool off ering unique experiences, open-air
beach pools with huge continuous water surfaces and
plenty of visual elements, a thermal water spa with excel-

lent therapeutic effects, a well-equipped health depart-
ment, an intricately designed sauna world, and a 25-metre
swimming pool are waiting for the guests. Th e mineral
content of the medicinal water in Kaposvár is high; it is
excellent for the treatment of locomotor and gynaeco-

logical conditions, and for rehabilitation after surgery. Th e
Ferenc Csik Sports Swimming Pool, completed in 2019
and meeting the international standards, is the venue for

sports events, championships, and matches. The bust of
Ferenc Csik, a doctor and athlete born in Kaposvár, who
won the 100-metre freestyle at the 1936 Olympics, can be
seen in the area of the spa complex.
