The Spas of Szeged

Szeged has special treasures: there are thermal wells providing

certified medicinal water on both banks of the River Tisza.

Thanks to its alkali bicarbonate content, the Anna Water,
discovered in 1927, is suitable for the treatment of musculo-
skeletal, rheumatological, and gynaecological diseases and,
as a drinking cure, it can alleviate digestive complaints. In

the listed building of the Anna Spa, Thermal and Adventure
Baths, spa and adventure pools, as well as infrared and Finnish
saunas, await those who wish to recharge their batt eries. Th e
facility is open until midnight on weekdays.

Th e certified medicinal water of the Dóra Well in Újszeged
is used in the pools of the Napfényfürdő (Sunshine Spa)
Aquapolis. In the four-season water complex with a water
surface of 4,400 m , all age groups will find perfect entertain-

ment. The 13 slides with a total length of 1,000 m guarantee
the pleasure of sliding; the closed giant slides start from a 30
m high tower equipped with an elevator. The quiet wellness

area is a peaceful place to relax, while the adventure pools with

water drift corridors and waterfalls offer pleasant relaxation.
The Sziksósfürdő open-air beach, spa, and campsite in Kis-

kundorozsma offer ideal conditions for families, where a

saline lake for swimming, children’s pools, and a boating lake
wait for their guests.
