The Zselic landscape,
the wonder of nature
The landscape of Zselic is a wonder of nature. It is one
of the regions with the least light pollution in the world,
making it the perfect place for the people interested in the
starry sky. The Planetarium of Zselic provides the necessary
technical and professional background with its telescopes,
planetarium, experts, and regularly organized programmes.
The complex includes five information points, as well as a
25-metre-high lookout tower, from which, in clear weather,
one can see as far north as Lake Balaton, and as far south
as Croatia. The villages hidden in Zselic also have special
values. A Deer Farm in Bőszénfa, an open-air museum with
Europa Nostra Award in Szenna, and a real children’s para-
dise in Patca await their visitors.
