dynamically developing tourist destinations of Hungary.
The number of tourists visiting the town shows a steady

increase; and, at the same time, the tourist tax revenue has

de s tina tion also increased, which the town uses completely for the pur-

poses of tourism. Thanks to this dynamic development and
in order to increase the accommodation capacity, two new
hotels have been built in Nyíregyháza-Sóstógyógyfürdő,
Hungary’s national health resort.

The outstanding quality awards of Hungarian tourism have
been awarded to Nyíregyháza by szallas.hu, the market-
leading hotel agency portal on the Hungarian market. Dur-
ing two consecutive years, first the Nyíregyháza Zoo, then

the Aquarius Experience and Park Spa became the Tourist
Attraction of the Year, and Hotel Pangea received the Spe-

cial Award of the Year. Recently, many new att ractions and
