Sóstógyógyfürdő, just six kilometres from the city centre, was named after the for-
mer salt-water lake. Surrounded by 320 hectares of oak forest, this holiday resort is

a national health resort and spa of Hungary, and attracts one million visitors a year.
The former “Tub Bath” has been operating under the name Hotel Fürdőház***

since 2013, and visitors will find a wellness area, a spa pool, a salt cave, a Jacuzzi, and

a sauna. The Aquarius Experience Spa and Park Spa, located in the neighbourhood

of the hotel, offer un-paralleled adventures to each member of the family.
The Aquarius Experience Spa and the Park Spa can be visited with the same ticket

during the summer, so the guests can choose from 22 swimming pools, numerous
slides, and the spa experience. In the therapeutic bath unit, in addition to balneo-
therapy treatments, varied physiotherapy services are available. Dry physiotherapy,

ultrasound, stable galvanic, interference, soft laser light treatment, shock wave, cryo,
and magnetotherapy are also waiting for the guests who wish to get healthy. It is

star, 122-room wellness conference hotel is connected to the Aquarius Experience
