WATER FOR FUN

The multi-generational Aquaticum Debrecen Spa Complex, lo-
cated in the magnifi cent natural environment of the Great For-
est (Nagy-erdő), waits for its visitors with a year-round thermal
spa, a wellness centre, an indoor Mediterranean adventure
spa, exciting programmes, and a special open-air spa.
While relaxing in the outdoor pool of the thermal spa in the
winter, we can admire the park of the Great Forest “dressed in
white”, while we can recharge our batteries while sunbathing in
its park in the summer. The indoor pools provide regeneration
with a variety of water fun elements in a pleasant atmosphere.
In Debrecen, we can splash about the water regardless of
the season and the weather, because the rich vegetation of
the Aquaticum Mediterranean Adventure Spa and its banana
trees bring us summer on every day of the year.
The Aquaticum Debrecen Open-air Spa, a spa complex
opened in 2020, is one of the most special open-air spas in
Hungary and Central Europe, and offers great fun with its
spectacular architectural solutions, a swimming pool with
diving board, a wave pool and children’s pool, a sun terrace
at 12 metres and slides. There is a breathtaking panorama of
the great forest from the terrace! In the summer heat, we can
count the stars in the sky while “fl oating” on the water of the
elevated pool during night-time swimming.
